The Origins of Dogmons

Picture

Have you ever wondered how the dogs howl to the moon?

Well, they do this since the first canine, because, according to the theory about Dogmons, dogs came from outer space.

If you have read "Were the Dogs Astronauts?", you know what we're
talking about.

If you didn't, it's a pity… because it's out of print.

It was Professor J.J. Lotsalies, author of the book and Alex's father, who found out that the Dogmons had been on Earth many years ago.

But nobody believed in what he wrote.

The Professor thinks that Anubis, an ancient egyptian deity, was actually a powerful Dogmon  who came from outer space.

Anubis ruled all the north of Africa and was considered a God by the ancients.

The professor Lotsalies developed the theory that Anubis came from Sirus, a star located in the Canis Major constellation.
To prove it, he showed that a drawing of Anubis was shaped like the Canis Major constellation.

Even though he was immediately thrown out from London University and admitted to the Strawberry Fields Loony Hospital, the professor  kept at his research.

Travelling around the world, searching for clues about Dogmons, professor J.J. Lotsalies went to Rio de Janeiro.

The Dog Face Hill, place where the city was founded, soon attracted the professor's attention.

The professor's theory is the Dog Face Hill represents a dog lying down, an ancient Dogmon monument.

His ideas were soon confirmed on the first excavations.

After an exhaustive excavation, and being arrested ten times by the army (the Dog Face Hill is situated on a military base), the professor found a new clue that led to Gávea stone.

The professor Lotsalies started studying the Gávea Stone.

He found out that the stone represents a dog looking at the sky.

One day, the professor went to the Gávea Stone to study it up close and he was never seen again.

Alex, the professor's son, was caught off guard in his room by a ball of light floating in front of him. Inside the ball is his father's notebook.

According to the clues in the notebook, Alex went on to search for the professor.

During his vacations, Alex travelled to Rio to meet his friends Cris and Nando.

Together, they decided to climb Gavea Stone to find out what the professor was searching for.

They finally get to Gávea Stone and find a mysterious portal to Canis-2B, the Dogmons' planet in Sirus star.

To know what comes next, wait for the Dogmons' adventures!
